- Perform operation and maintenance activities on mainline natural gas pipelines, including operating and maintaining engines and compressors, monitoring and recording pressures, temperatures, volumes, fluid levels, etc. - Respond to call outs for pipeline related activities and emergencies - Inspect, troubleshoot, maintain and repair all facilities as assigned, including but not limited to pipelines, compression, and measurement facilities - Locate and mark pipelines, patrol pipelines, respond to One-Calls including associated record keeping - Obtain OQ qualifications in concordance with company procedures and regulatory requirements - Able to locate facilities and reference points utilizing maps, drawings, and Global Positioning System (GPS) - Ability to read and utilize equipment manuals, drawings, schematics, alignment sheets and P&ID drawings - Maintain a working knowledge of regulatory requirements (OSHA, DOT, EPA and state regulations) and Company Standard Operating Procedures including required documentation - Must plan, organize and prioritize assigned responsibilities - Work independently and represent the Company to outside entities i.e. landowners, emergency response agencies, contractors, and other pipeline companies - Manage all activities with a focus on safety and compliance - Successful candidate must reside within a 25 mile radius of the reporting location - Works indoors and outdoors, in and around mechanical, industrial and electrical equipment - Occasionally works in temperature extremes due to weather conditions and operating equipment - Uses physical force to lift, push, pull and operate equipment and tools - Climbs and works at various heights and may work in a standing, sitting, lying, crouched or kneeling position - Able to appropriately react to visual, audio and other signals, including alarms and instructions - Able to visually inspect work for compliance to maintenance specifications - Capable of lifting a load up to 50 pounds from ground level - Must have the ability to get in and out of vehicles regularly and ride over rough roads - May be subject to overtime, required to carry a cell phone, and subject to 24/7 call out - Required to work in an on-call rotation with other Team members - High school graduate - Pipeline or previous work experience - minimum of 2 years - Must maintain a valid driver's license and a safe driving record - Required to pass a pre-employment drug test, and will adhere to and is subject to all U.S. Department of Transportation Drug and Alcohol related regulations, and will be subject to a background check.
