Our client in the Energy sector in Buffalo, NY area is searching for a qualifiedjunior level Engineer to join their growing team, working out of their Corporate headquarters.OBJECTIVE: The Engineer will serve as an integral member of the team that is responsible for ensuring the safety and integrity of their systems.RESPONSIBILITIES AND FUNCTIONS:The successful candidate will be responsible for the following functions within their assigned geographic territory:Pressurized pipeline systems design and modelingProject design and management including oversight and coordination of project layout, alignment and schedulingMaterial and equipment specificationBid preparation and project engineering support for constructionProject cost estimates, payment approvals and post project cost analysisTechnical support of Field Operations and other corporate departments with engineering design work and analysisREQUIREMENTS:Bachelor of Science degree in an Engineering discipline with a 3.0 average or higher.Strong written and verbal communication skills, analytical skills, multi-tasking abilities and customer service skills are required.Previous construction and/or project management experience.A working knowledge of pipeline operations is desirable.US Citizens and all other parties authorized to work in the US are encouraged to apply.
