3D Pipeline EngineerOur client is seeking a 3D Pipeline Engineer with experience working in a fast paced production environment to join their Product Engineering Solutions team as part of the IT Department in Beaverton, Oregon. About the RoleThe 3D Pipeline Engineer is responsible for developing, maintaining and supporting software that enables our client*s Art Studio to design and create without being hindered by technical restraints. Software tools generally involve Python development of automation scripts and user friendly custom extensions of tools like Maya, Photoshop, and Modo.3D Pipeline Engineer QualificationsBachelor*s degree in Computer Science, Graphics or similar experience.Minimum 5 years of experience writing tools for 3D modelling and animation software, specifically Maya, Modo, and Cinema4D.3-5 years professional experience with Python.3 years of professional experience with rendering engines, specifically V-Ray, Arnold, RenderMan, and Octane.3 years of experience with C++ or Java.1 year of experience with rendering techniques, specifically Path, Ray Tracing, and Rasterizers.Professional experience with Windows, OSX, and Linux.Experience with cloth simulation very desirable.Artistic eye, interests, and background highly desirable.Ability to multi-task.BenefitsBenefits are available to eligible VanderHouwen contractors and include coverage for medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short and long term disability, and matching 401k.About VanderHouwen VanderHouwen is an award-winning, Women-Owned, WBENC certified professional staffing firm.
